Ich hab einen aus 1978, XL2S1N-464xxxx.

Edit: und natürlich ein "A" für Longbridge hinten dran. "XL2S1N" passt für einen 1000er Saloon mit Rundnase 1974-1980.

Laut der o.g. Webseite sollte das ein 1000er Mayfair zwischen 84 und 88 sein...

Hast schonmal auf den Scheibenwischermotor, Verteiler, Anlasser und so weiter geschaut welches Datum dort vermerkt ist? Wenn er Original 10" ist wird es ein 82-84 sein schätz ich mal.

what is interesting is that the ADO20 is in your age range
Mark III: 1969–1976 (ADO20)
but the Chassis number is 80-85 format with i guess a typo on the first l that should be a L showing it as a 998 engine.
