Hmmm, irgendwie passt das Foto nicht so richtig. Nach den Proportionen, wo sich der Kopf des Fahrers befindet, müssste man nahe der Ellenbogen auch die Knie sehen...

YESSSS !! super tractor with 120 PS !! but you need an engine from Midget / Mg 1300 / or Marina for the crankshaft and coupling to fit , Would you be allowed in the races with this ?? as a prototype should be something special ! and FUN !!!
right it s a 948 engine so suppose that inno has no 1275 but a 950 tractor engine in it since heads for smaller engines are different to 1275 and cooper s heads , lay out of cilinders is different and waterchannels are different to , correct me if I am wrong .
I found some special article about a diesel turbo Innocenti based on the Inno120 = 1275 leyland engine unbelievable job ! who bought this >Inno ?? and where is it now ??
Alfa had several Dellorto carburetors usually 2 carbs , for Mini use they should be calibrated on a rolling road changing and testing air and mainjets . Do not make the mistake of a to big Weber carb , normally a DCOE 40 is big enough with venturi size about 36mm : this is good for an engine delivering 100 BHp with camshafts in the region of 296 degrees ( semi race, hot rally cam )) timing of the camsahft is also crucial point , retarding a camsaft a few degrees gives better pickup lowdown rpm , advancing the camshaft is for more power in the upper rpm range 5000 rpm plus , Ignition is very important for max power ;; 36 degrees at 5000 rpm is not far off / for easy starting use less advance on the ignition , some of the old 850 distributors ar remarkably good for this purpose , I personally have been racing Mini's for some 20 years and always set up on a powerbench ( Hofmann) building my distributors by myself and checking on a distributortestmachine , ignition timing becomes important between 2000 and 6000 rpm , use an rpm limiter from Lucas that is originally in the Lotus Twincam engines and can be set by 3 small screws inside the distributor . see
ALWAYS USE 98 benzina !! eventually ad octane booster , I have been racing with Nitromethanol ; complete different story . and use the best plugs from NGK watch the temprange for the plugs depending your driving style . ![]()
Hi I am converting my 76 Moke from 2 x SU HS2 ( old Cooper S carbs ) to a single carb HS6 from a Tomaso , I am missing the square spacer between carb and inlet tubing . I can find them in the Uk but to much trouble with Brexit pôstage so maybe here in Germany somebody could have the part for me . it is for SU HS6 or HIF44 ( not the smaller38) I bought the Moke in Germany and for importing in Belgium , to avoid any problems on the tech inspection , I want it to look a bit original on one carb .. so please help anyone who can sell me the square spacer . please reply on email adres staxmotownjunkie@yahoo.com , thank you .
If your carb is losing the benzine via the overflow ; it's becaus the needle is not closing so dirt inside ; solution : benzinfilter and one thing extra : just run a second tube back to the petroltank from the overflow of the carb in that way you are not loosing the benzine and you will not put your car on fire on a hot exhaust tube
