Hier schreibt Herr Dodd an seine Kunden:
Dear Loyal European Customers
Thank you to all of our customers in Europe who have placed orders this year, despite Brexit and the uncertainty of deliveries from the UK. We are now 5 months into the year and despite daily conversations with our courier partners, they are still unable to provide us with a list of the various charges and customs costs that will be incurred by you, the customer, to receive your order.
As per the Brexit agreement between the EU and the UK, there shouldn’t be any duties to pay for goods produced in the UK and EU, but unfortunately we have seen many cases where charges are being levied despite the agreement. We no longer charge VAT to our EU customers, so the courier should be charging the customer directly for the VAT and a clearance fee, but in the majority of cases nothing else.
So, as the couriers can’t provide us with the information to pass onto you, the customer, I am asking for your help as loyal customers, to please send me the invoice that you received from your courier when you received your order from Mini Spares this year, in order for the goods to be delivered. Hopefully, if enough people respond we can form an accurate picture of the various charges, so that we can advise everyone in the future of the likely charges involved to receive your goods from us.
Thank you in advance for your assistance in this matter.
Yours faithfully,
Stevie Dodd,
Director
