Du warst nicht gemeint...

...und weil es ein so tolles Gefuddel ist, könnte man auch die Knochengummies gleich prüfen / ersetzen.

Ggfs. könnte es auch Sinn machen, den Blechtopf (Entlüftung) neben der Scrhaube zu lösen. Aber hier kann natürlich die Dichtung unten kaputt gehen. Irgendwas ist immer....

Und den unteren Knochen losmachrn, dann lässt sich der Motor auch kippen.

Wenn das Gewinde versaust am Block hast big Problem.

Schraube bekommst nur raus wenn die Motorentlüftung los machst.

Sorry, dass ich dieses alte Thema wieder ausgrabe, ich habe dasselbe Problem und frage mich, ob es für das Masseband auch Alternativen gibt. Ich denke meines ist einfach schon zu sehr in Mitleidenschaft gezogen worden.

ich habe das gleiche Prob lem

Inno 1974 1001 ( engine 136o)

lade die Batterie auf , mit einem Triple Charger almost to 12.84 Volt

then the next morning it reads( mulit meter) 12.41 ( no Driving )

start really slow.

I have only 1 Messeband in front nothing in the back

what else is there to look for ??

Battery is pretty new 2 years.

Try a new starter …. or how old is it ??

I was „on the way“ to fit the new type starter (1990ties and later) to get better starting, but my Parts-Dealer said „try a new one of the old Type …. if it is not succsesful, i‘ll take it back and sell the new type to you“

The new „old Type“ cost was 90 DM, the cost of the „new Type“ Starter was 385 DM ….

So i made a Test ….

Plug of the Ignitoin coil and turn the key to start for 5 seconds …. listen how the old starter works / turns

Cut off the battery, fix the new „old Type“ Starter,

Plug on the Battery and turn the Key to start again ( Ignition coil plugged off) for 5 seconds

It was a difference like night and day …. it felt like „the new starter will blow the engine out of the car“ …. with no battery charging in between …

How old is your starter ?

The Mini starter „lives“ behind the front grille and while drining in dust or rain the starter is one of the first adresses to be hurt by water and dirt.
